Come learn to generate and benefit from the powerful energy of back bending.
Lunges & Standing Poses for Length & Strength

Exploring Inversions & Arm-balances
Monday, June 21st 6-7:30pm
Struggle Free Yoga Practice
Monday, June 28th 6-7:30pm
This Session is about slowing down, calming and quieting the nerves with forward bends, and also about wringing out stagnant energy in the mid and lower torso with twists. Learning to manage the fiery energy of yoga, and deriving pleasure from strength are themes as well. This Session is full of stimulating, mood-elevating poses. Build strength in the arms and shoulders while releasing the upper back and neck. Safely work a new edge of your yoga practice. Change your relationship with gravity! This Session will stimulate the circulatory system and lubricate the joints. Lengthening and unclogging the frequently tight hip flexor are priorities of this class; decompressing the lower back in standing poses is also a focus.
About the Teacher: Molly Terhune has trained extensively with Ana Forrest, completing both the Foundational and Advanced Teacher Trainings. Molly has taught at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA, and has recently published a thesis on the topic of yoga.
