Developing a love of movement early on, Ellen grew up dancing, practicing gymnastics and playing soccer. She dove into practicing yoga regularly after college looking for a fun way to stay active. She quickly realized that the benefits of yoga go beyond the physical and developed a deep appreciation for the emotional healing, mental clarity and spiritual connection that come with a regular practice. Excited to share that with others, Ellen completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training as well as further training as a meditation teacher. Her classes encourage playfulness/curiosity while offering a safe space for participants to listen to their bodies and honor their unique path.
When Ellen is not practicing yoga, she enjoys working with children as a nanny and is training to become a birth doula. She also loves to spend her time paddle boarding, camping, crocheting, and reading. She is excited to connect with those in the Old Town Yoga community!
