Jessie Hill

In 2012, with a lost sense of self-identity, Jessie decided to take a deeper dive into the world of yoga and immerse herself in a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Samadhi Yoga Center in Denver. During this time, she began to understand the teachings of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the 8 Limbs of Yoga. She learned how the simple combination of linking breath and movement can lead to powerful transformation.

With a newly empowered understanding of subtle body energy, Jessie was able to move beyond identifying as a student-athlete (a label that ended shortly after wrapping up a lifetime of playing soccer from a young age through college) and accept the ever-changing flux of the chapters in life. Determined to share her learnings, Jessie went on to teach yoga in many settings including gyms, businesses, recovery centers, and studios. Over the years she has continued her yoga studies attending immersions focusing on the sutras and anatomy along with completing her 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training from The River.

Jessie enjoys connecting with practitioners of all ages and stages (of their practice). Her classes typically offer a combination of a strong vinyasa power flow that begins and ends with a meditative concentration on pranayama.

Off her mat, Jessie can be found exploring Colorado’s outdoor playground on foot, bike or skis!
