Amanda has a passion for learning about the body, how it works, and how to make it better. She became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2004 with a 300-hour training course at The Giving Tree Cottage Massage School in Nacogdoches, Texas. She advanced her education with an additional 250-hour course at the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School when she moved to Austin in 2006. Her primary modalities are Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Massage, Cupping, and Shiatsu.
Amanda has worked in a variety of settings over the years including a chiropractor’s office that gave her experience with the therapeutic approach, and Lake Austin Spa Resort, which Condé Nast continually ranks a top destination spa in Texas, the nation, and the world. This experience taught her how to pamper like the finest do.
Amanda also holds a Physical Therapist Assistant license since 2009, which gives her a strong understanding of functional anatomy, orthopedics, and the physiology of rehabbing injuries. With her dual licensure and over 15 years of bodywork experience, she offers a beautiful blend of a therapeutic approach with a relaxing and pampering touch.
