Yoga can be a powerful tool for transformation. Sam’s transformative journey began in the gym, where she became emersed in the powerlifting and CrossFit community. And while she found empowerment and excitement in strengthening and pushing herself, it was not until she attended her first yoga class in 2012 that she realized a key piece was missing in her fitness journey… Self Love!
Yoga has since allowed Sam to continue pushing herself with new poses and practices, all while honoring her body and soul. She aims to create a space in the studio that encourages creativity and exploration of our bodies’ capabilities with not only confidence, but compassion!
Sam received her 200-hour teacher training right here in Fort Collins in 2019, while simultaneously completing her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Sciences with a concentration in Sports Medicine at CSU. However, her love of health and fitness goes beyond the classroom as her life goal is to combine her knowledge and passion into a career in Holistic Kinesiology, focusing on the mental and physical benefits of Yoga. In her free time, you can still find her lifting weights or rock climbing (when she’s not on her mat).
