Shelby fell in love with movement at a young age, starting her journey at 3 years old as a dancer. Through dance she grew body awareness and has always been a lover of movement. She initially found yoga in college and was captivated by the fluidity of vinyasa flow. It was the movement and the flow that attracted her and the stillness that keeps her returning to the mat. After overcoming a knee injury and surgery, her practice looked much different and she tries to incorporate safe alignment from this experience into her teachings. Her mission is to share her love of movement and stillness, while embracing self-awareness and kindness to ourselves and others. Off the mat, Shelby can be found skiing or exploring the outdoors with her dog.
